I came here on a business trip for the week and wasn’t expecting much but the staff Staff were so friendly and helpful. Room was very clean.
It is in a remote location and the breakfast does come in a box. You only get 30 minutes WiFi too. House keeping great, you can top up when required. Overall it was a pleasant stay.

This is a great place to stay especially if you are travelling on your own. The car park is well lit and spacious. The lady on reception took the time to make sure I knew where my room was and even offered to carry my bag. Thank you for a lovely stay.
A very comfortable stay,,friendly/helpful staff ,,lovely and clean hotel . Starbucks and Gregg's near by ,also a well stocked garage shop. We had a back room which looked out onto trees,,relaxing and quiet ,,I will recommend this travelodge
This is a lovely hotel with some of the nicest and friendliest staff. They were very helpful in giving us directions for somewhere to eat as the hotel doesn’t have a restaurant. The rooms are a good size and very clean . The shower and bathroom were great. Will definitely be back.
Having stayed in this hotel before I was pleased to see the carpets have been replaced as they were previously very old and tired. So much so you didn't want to walk on them without shoes on. It was also pleasing to see new shower curtains. However, there is no net curtain on the window so despite it being morning you can't open the curtains to let some light in and still stay in best and rest unless your want everyone to be able to see you.
The windows are no way near thick enough for it being so close to the dual carriageway. So noisy, barely got any sleep.
We have visited lots of Travelodges and this was one of the best. The carpets were brand new and this made a real difference to the feel of the place. On recent visits to other Travelodges the carpets have been very faded (even looking bleached or had the wrong cleaning product used on them) so its about time they were all replaced !! We also appreciated the change of handwash (a much better texture and fragrance) and the new shower curtain. The room was very much to our liking as it was big and at the back overlooking countryside, also everywhere was spotlessly clean and the bed made well (unlike some).
Our only problem was the comfort of the bed, we've never been uncomfortable before in our 10 years of `lodging but we both woke with bad backs this time ! it seemed too hard and sloping down towards the foot - maybe it was new?
We will definitely use this hotel again.
