We stayed here after a full day of driving and sight seeing in Kansas. The motel was fine. A place to sleep at a reasonable price. Free breakfast the next morning and off you go. The people were very nice.

The management of the ABVI in Goodland was very helpful during our week-long stay. They set aside extra rooms for family and friends who came in for my Dad's funeral. All this while they were running under-staffed due to their own family events.

We needed a place to stay last minute on our way home from Yellowstone. I was skeptical of a cheap motel but didn't want to spend much to sleep for 7 hours. The manager working was lovely and helpful at 1100. The room was very clean and we were safe. There little things that were not perfect that no normal person would care about. Breakfast was nice and once again the staff was darling.

The man who checked us in was very friendly and efficient. Our room was clean and roomy. The bed was VERY comfortable. The breakfast was good.

WiFi was not useful at all. The connection was either slow or unreliable. Either way, my computer kept dropping the connection - making it useless. If you MUST have WiFi, you may want to stay elsewhere.

Other than that, it was an economical room and quite satisfactory in every way.

Pros: Hotel is updated and well kept. Breakfast was very good, very similar to Comfort Inn. The rooms were super clean and well maintained. Smelled good and really quiet even with full parking lot. Desk friendly.
Cons: We are big people and the bathroom is typical 1950s sizes, so everything seemed small to what we are used to. Did not seem very wheelchair friendly...there is a step up to get into lobby and into the rooms I saw.

Would stay here again without hesitation.
