This campground was well maintained and the staff was extremely nice. We got here on Sunday night of Labor Day weekend for a one night stay as we were traveling to Wyoming. A nice gentleman showed us to our site on a golf cart. I feel like this is really more of a 3 1/2 star park but we like bit more room than most people so thays a preference. There isn't a lot of space between the RV sites and there is lot of clutter throughout the park. Lots of signs and statues and not a lot of free space on our side of the park, especially for walking dogs. We stayed in space 69. Road before entrance is gravel. Lots of gas stations close by. Shopping a nicer restaurants are about 10 mintues away.

We pulled in very late with our 42' 5th wheel and our reservation paperwork was at the office drop box for us with our site clearly labeled. We were given a large pull-thru site that was exactly what we wanted for our quick in/out stay. We had reserved a pre-paid online nearly two months in advance. Clean sites and friendly staff. Hope to return!

Salina KOA campground is great! Weekend pancake breakfast best ever! Owners keep improving and adding things. Only negative is they charge for a fire ring even though ones weren't being used all around the park.

Room Tip: Be aware of dust from frontage road and highway noise. Salt water pool refreshing

I found this to be one of the better KOA locations. The campsite I was assigned was dead level which was a first. There was a good amount of shade plus a section good for satellite reception although the house cable TV was great. The wi-fi work perfectly for email and Facebook-- not good for streaming. The camp was well kept and despite being close to I-70 was quiet. The showers and laundry were impeccable. I would certainly stay here again.

We stay here every year when traveling through for family reunions. The park is clean, and quiet.

This year, I noticed they had a little barrel train for the kids, and it was running throughout the evening.

The park is easy to get to from I-70 and there are many options for fuel, and food very close by. Within a half mile of the park, there is an IHOP, and an Iron Skillet, both are very good.

Room Tip: The north end of the park is the furthest away from I-70 but the whole park is relatively quiet.
