I stayed at the Old Bardstown Inn for 3 nights in mid December. The Inn is located directly across the street from "The Old Kentucky Home."
One can easily walk into Bardstown for dining and drinks. I estimate the distance to town central to be approximately one mile; maybe a little less. There is also "fine" dining at a locally famous restaurant that located less than 1/4 mile from the Inn. The Indian gentlemen who owns/runs the place was great to work with and a very interesting person to talk to. The owner has been gradually remodeling and updating the rooms. The room in which I stayed was very clean and had nearly new, high grade carpeting, new beds, fresh paint and a new remote controlled air-conditioner. I highly recommend the Old Bardstown Inn and plan to stay there again when I go back for another Bourbon Trail adventure this fall.More
