My husband and I have ate here twice. Both times the food was great! We ordered basic steak or hamburger and other beef or chicken sandwiches the first time and ordered big pricy meals the second time . The sides were good and plentiful. The food was good and hot and throughly cooked. No complaints on the food or service. The prices are a little high, but they don't have many people so it's like you have the place to yourself through the week in the afternoons or early evenings. I loved that they still allow smoking! As we are smokers. The waitress was great and didn't bother us unless it was to take our order, give our food, or if we needed her. It's only open certain days and times but that makes it even more appealing that we can't just go eat there anytime or day so we go on special occasions without the kids. They have awesome decor and history of the county and town. There is a bar in another building next door and Lake Carnico with a beach and boat ramp is across the street. I would highly recommend going if you can afford it and can go when they are open.
