Very reasonable and well worth the trip. Highly recommend for a weekend getaway. Lots of local produce and good friends to help. We stayed in a cabin duplex, which was very reasonable. Good luck with your travels.

Room Tip: Beautiful area and well worth the scenic views.

We were there for a car club get together. The lodge was built in the 20's, had a fire in the 40's and still going strong. Rooms do have a smell of cleaning -for mildew and such but are a reasonable size given the age of the resort. No elevator so be prepared to carry baggage up stairs. The staff reception was inconsistent. Some were very friendly and helpful others it was just a job. The buffet was reasonably price and good, as was breakfast. Lots of outlets in the room and beds were comfortable. After 3 nights there I felt relaxed and went to take pictures of the falls. They were not large but it felt like being in the middle of nature. Yes there are more upgrades needed like carpeting but overall it was clean and quiet. A non modern get away.

This review is for the cottages.
We stayed in 2 bedroom, 2 floor cottage with gas fire place.
The cottage was gorgeous! We had net of space to spread out. Bedrooms downstairs so everyone felt free to do whatever and and disturb others.
Nice little kitchen and dining area.
Little decks to enjoy the view.
It is out in the middle of nowhere so be a good Boy Scout and be prepared.

really for families, not much to do at lodge. If they are able to update facility, have fun things to do, would be worth the night or two stay. Otherwise, just see falls for minute, hike a little, then go stay somewhere else. Staff friendly, food good, but even for a relaxing trip, nothing to do at all. Rooms are clean

My husband and I stayed several nights at the Dupont Lodge. We had friends who were visiting from Wisconsin, and had booked a room there. The lodge has the feel of the grand old-style retreats of the past. The dining room has excellent food. The rooms are smaller and more dated than a motel just off the interstate, but we expected that when we checked in. Everything in the room was clean; the beds were quite comfortable. I would stay there again.
