The Hampton Inn was very nice and clean. The service and check-in and check-out was courteous and prompt. The room was large and was very comfortable and had great wireless internet access. Also, the hotel offers a great continental breakfast with sausage, eggs, biscuits and an assortment of other continental breakfast items. The hotel itself is in close proximity to several restaurants, a Wal-mart and others stores for shopping and is located right off 64. Was very happy with my stay!

Originally we were booked to stay at the Holiday Inn Express across the road but they had overbooked with some governmental conference so they put us in the Hampton and paid for a night's accommodation. We are generally Hampton guests but we wanted a hotel with a launderette within after seven days/nights on the road.
We found the Hampton upto there usual standards and even though was also full, they seemed to manage admirably. There was a great swimming pool at the back of the hotel, perfect after a heavy day's touring. For the second night when there was room at the Holiday Inn, we decided to stay put in the Hampton as we liked it so much.
We used this hotel whilst visiting the Horse Park at Lexington and its position adjacent to the Interstate means you can access all the tourist hotspots easily. There is a small retail area on the other side of the highway, including a cinema where we saw the new Harry Potter film on release day. But the best place to eat is Charleys just around the corner from the Hampton. There is a very reasonably priced menu and the staff atre something else in the way of serv ice.

First I'll get the bad out of the way. The only bad thing I can say about this hotel is that I had requested a non-smoking room with a king size bed when I made the reservation, but when I checked in I was told only a double bed non-smoking room was available. While this was a minor inconvenience, it did mean that my wife and I had to sleep in separate beds during our two night stay, as a single double bed just wasn't big enough for the both of us. That was alright for a business trip, but if this had been a romantic getaway, we would have had to found someplace else to stay. Aside from that, our room and experience was great. The place was very clean and the furniture was in good repair. The TV worked well with lots of channels, the beds were very comfortable, and the wireless internet was average but adequate. The ac unit worked great. The room had telephones conveniently located by the bed, on the desk, and even one next to the commode in the bathroom for those "can't afford to miss" calls. Although we didn't use it, the hotel has a nice clean looking pool that we could look down on from our room. The breakfast was very good with a wide variety. One morning was scrambled eggs and ham along with a wide variety of donuts, bagels, fruit, muffins, and juice. The next morning had biscuits and gravy along with the other assortments. The staff was extremely courteous and pleasant. The hotel was conveniently located near plenty of restaurants and shopping, many within walking distance. I would not hesitate to stay here again as long as I receive the king size bed that I request.

No complaints at all here... just your typical Hampton. Front desk staff was very, very friendly and the rooms were clean. There are also probably 10 restaurants within walking distance, all kinds of food and price ranges. The morning donut selection was top notch.

We stayed two non-consecutive nights at the Hampton Inn Frankfort in September of 2008. The hotel is easy to find, well-lit and the staff at the front desk was friendly and helpful.

Our room was nice-sized, with very comfortable beds and pillows. The bathroom was bright and clean. The free wireless internet connection was reasonably fast.

The breakfast was better than some Hamptons I've stayed at -- they had biscuits/gravy & eggs the first morning we ate there, and some type of cheesy egg on an english muffin the second morning. It wasn't wonderful, but it wasn't bad either. Of course, there were plenty of the usual continental breakfast items to go with it.

We forgot to check the closet before we left, and left three shirts behind. A call to the front desk later that day put us in touch with housekeeping, who confirmed that they had found our clothing. The housekeeping supervisor offered to either mail the items to us, or leave them at the front desk for us to pick up. They weren't expensive items, but they were favorites, and it was nice to get them back!

I would be happy to stay here again, or recommend it to a friend.
