This is a by the book Fairfield, clean and comfortable. Better than average but TA does not have a good rating. Well located to historic Georgetown, parts of the Bourbon trail and right off I-75. Beware of the web pictures, this property is tucked in a hard corner and not much to look at. Good price point, good for a road stop or a couple of nights.

On our arrival the building and ground are nicely maintained. The front desk staff were efficient courteous and friendly they found our reservation and quickly had us booked in. The room we booked had two queen sized beds it was clean, nicely decorated but the lighting was insufficient it was not bright enough. The internet was easy to access and we were able to use it no issues. There were numerous pillows on the beds but we found them too firm the beds themselves were very comfortable. We had the buffet breakfast. They started breakfast service at 6:00 a.m. which made it great for early risers wanting to get an early start. This hotel and its location is a very good place to spend a night on the road.
We booked our room on line and when we arrived at the hotel we were pleased with the building the grounds were well maintained. The staff at the desk were very friendly courteous and efficient. Our room was very clean and up to date. The only negative issues are (1) my wife found the lighting in the bathroom very dim making it very difficult to see trying to apply her makeup (2) the alarm clock did not work properly it did not light up and we could not set the alarm. We did not notify the staff about these issues. The beds were comfortable but the pillows were too firm we like a softer pillow. Breakfast hours were from 6 till 9 a.m. and the breakfast was hot and plentiful. Generally this hotel was good value for your money!!! It had a convenient location to the Interstate.
If you are bothered by noise and/or smells, do not stay here. This hotel is not insulated well and our room had some kind of terrible perfume smell which affects me terribly. My guess is it was from the cleaning agents and all rooms smelled that way. We had to keep a window open to air it out. We shut the window at bedtime and we could hear all the traffic outside and the freeway sounded like a race car track. The staff was very nice and that’s the only positive thing about our stay.
Thank you for taking the time to respond about your stay. I am so sorry that there was a strong, perfume smell in the room from the cleaning chemicals. I will get with housekeeping and have them to tone it down a bit. As far as the noise from the interstate, unfortunately that is a common issue. To combat that, we do have some rooms that face away from the interstate, so if you are willing to give us another chance, please contact me and I will ensure you get into one of those rooms the next time to see if it is any better. I am so glad to hear you thought our staff was nice.

This was a nice looking hotel, but when I booked it online the rooms looked bigger than what they were, the TV system was messed up and they were only gonna take off ten dollars, they charged more than what it said when I reserved the room online, so I asked for my money back and 4 days later I am still waiting on the money to clear through but it's crazy it's your money but u have to wait 3 to 5 business days after it posted that they took the money. Would not recommended this hotel to anyone.
