We were in our way to a fundraiser, so we thought we'd try the Julep cup because the reviews were so good. We were not disappointed. The salmon was amazing, and the pork chops were divine. Bar selections are great, and if you know Bourbon, they know bourbon. The service is great, and the live music was fun. It's a throwback to a time people lingered over dinner and conversation, so the seats are very comfy and the place is filled with conversation. A great place! We will be back.

Great food with live music. this location is hindered by being located and hidden in a retirement tower. The food is excellent and the service is superb. We are always welcomed with a wonderful chef surprise before our appetizer. The beef wellington rocks, and so does the homemade desserts.

We haven't been to the Julep Cup in over a year and found it to be a gem of a surprise. Billy the bartender was superb, the other wait staff were very accommodating and the piano music was delightful. Definitely a hidden gem in Lexington's restaurant scene.

Wonderful well seasoned, creative cuisine and a varied menu. A true bargain. $15 to $30 gourmet dinners here that would easily be 3 to 5 times this cost in any major city and not be nearly as good. Live music the Friday night we were here. A wonderful evening.

I talk to locals frequently who have never been here, but whether for lunch or dinner, this place is awesome. Great atmosphere, food and service. We've never had a bad meal, and it's a great place for meetings or conversation.
