Great BBQ; enjoyed the brisket and hubby had the catfish - everything was good and the music was great! Wonderful and helpful server. Pulled pork was dry and our server replaced my meal with the brisket which was amazing!

Not the easiest place to find but glad we finally found our way!

Arrived about 8pm one day last week. Server came quickly and took drink orders. Came shortly with drinks and took orders for appitizers. He was very pleasant and helpful with menu. We placed our orders and they arrived within a few minutes. That is the good news. Most of us ordered "all you can eat" catfish with two sides. The catfish was hot but tough around the edges. The sides, red beans and rice, and jambalaya were like mush and not fit to eat. The cucumbers and tomatos were served in a plastic drink cup and consisted of a few slices of cucumber and one half of a cherry tomato. The plates were all served with a piece of white sandwich bread.

Eft server a nice tip because it was not his fault.

Don't plan to go back

We found this place on the bank of the Kentucky River sort of by accident. There were a ton of cars on a Saturday night. Upon entering and looking around it turned out to be a very large complex. Upstairs was a cozy bar and both indoor and outdoor seating overlooking a lower level with additional seating, a sizable open air bar right on the river and a bandstand with a great southern rock band playing. they have a nice beer selection. We ate at the upstairs bar. The brisket was perfectly smoked and very tender. Sides were tasty and all portions were generous. Prices were very reasonable. We love lucking onto gems like this while travelling.

A small group of us stopped here for a refreshments on a Friday afternoon. We sat riverside at the bar. The drinks were cold and prompt. We did not have any food. But judging the crowd on the deck and surrounding the bar, I will return to try some BBQ.
