Loved this exploration of the interesting and fun neighborhood of NuLu; I was staying right on the border in Butchertown and the meet-up was simple. Learning the history of the city accompanied by some great eats was a wonderful way to start my first full day in Louisville. The food was amazing and served me as both lunch and dinner; I'm still dreaming of the pulled pork "cake" with sorghum. While I didn't drink any alcohol, there was water available and a local soda as well, but for those who wish to sample the more adult beverages there was a nicely balanced sampling. (Unlike another food tour I took in a music mecca *coughnashvillecough* there was nobody getting drunk.)
The pacing was very good and I truly enjoyed the history from the guide, Jeremy. The perfect autumn weather made everything even better, but altogether I would have been happy to do this tour in any weather. Great way to see some of Louisville and taste more than you might otherwise!
