Had a spinach salad that was fresh and quite good. The goat cheese had a little kick to it and a nice complement to the dried cranberries and bacon. Had the shrimp and grits. The grits had goat cheese. The grits was so so. Liked our seat at the window inside.

We were disappointed - again - with our dining experience with another Louisville restaurant. It was a hit-or-miss with these meals. The restaurant was noticeably bare of customers, maybe about 25 including our party of 10 during the time we were there. Here are the reviews.

Appetizers -
Good - the Spicy Fried Shrimp and the Queso Dip with Chips.
Not so good - the Hummus would have been amazing if only it had been warmed just a bit.

Dinners -
Good - the person in our group that had the Tuna said it was amazing. Someone else had the Bourbon-Soy Glazed Salmon and said it was very good. A third person had the Tortellini Diablo and said it was also very good. Another person had the Bone-In Pork Chop with Mashed Potatoes and said it was tremendous.

Not So Good - the Blackened Fish Sandwich was ok. The Bourbon Marinated Ribeye was given a 2 out of 5. Several of us had the Beer-Battered Cod with cole slaw. The fish and fries were luke warm and the cole slaw was merely shredded cabbage with mayonnaise. The only part of my meal I could eat was the cod removed from most of the breading. The four of us that had fries couldn't eat many of them as they were not cooked well, limp and cooling the longer they were on the plate. The waitress informed us that new fries were being blanched and would take about 10 minutes for fresh fries. We all turned down the offer.

Someone in our group ordered a Long Island Iced Tea be made a specific way and the bartender hit it on the nose, perfectly made as requested.

A lively place, with great atmosphere and a remarkable waitstaff. We wandered in and were very pleasantly surprised! All our food was excellent, and the drinks were well made! We'll be back next time in Louisville!!!

Food was decent. Some of the actual food served was slightly different from the menu description, such as the seasoning and preparation of the filet. Restaurant was dead. Maybe 16 total customers at 7 pm on a Saturday night. All Drinks were terribly slow. We would have likely drank more from the bar, but it took too long. One of the kids ordered a drink, after 15 minutes the waitress came back and I brought to her attention that we were missing a Sprite. She replied, well he (child) looks content (with no drink). Overall food was ok, nothing special. Many other choices in Louisville, so if you are visiting, please try someplace else or your likely to be disappointed. Waitress informed our party that they hired all new staff about 6 weeks ago.....well they need to do it again, because they struck out with the most recent hiring's.

If busy, it's extremely difficult to have a relaxing meal and converse. Food is overpriced and just okay. Not impressed.
