Our first visit to any thoroughbred facility was Lane's End Farm in Versailles, KY in July, 2020 . We selected a private tour, which is more expensive than a group tour, but well-worth the money. The tour was most informative with highlights about each stallion. If there was a stallion that was either being groomed or had not been brought back into the barn, our tour guide made sure that we "circled back" to visit that horse after it was brought back to its stall. Our experience was almost "personal" with each of the horses. I cannot say enough in this small space about how much we enjoyed this experience, and how friendly, personable and informative our tour guide was. We felt like we were part of the "family". We enjoyed it so very much, we are returning again for another private tour this year, and we are also adding a shuttle tour to see the mares. If you love horses, this is a "must do" tour. The Lane's End experience is incredible. Also, all Covid protocols are being followed, so we were very comfortable during our tour.
