We stayed one night. Wish our stay was longer. We fished, swam in the pool and kids enjoyed the splash pad. The sites are leveled, all concrete pads. The place is clean. No complaints! The hostess was very accommodating, recommended a couple of local food spots. We will come back

The location is quite near to Breaux Bridge and not far from Lafayette. However, the roads in the park are a disaster. The paving has crumbled and buckled and the potholes are huge. It rained all week which made the problem much worse. We could barely make 5 MPH driving in and out. The loop around the lakeside sites was much worse than the way in and out.

This is our fourth trip to this park. We have always loved the beauty and peacefulnesse
Of the park. We did spend three days but wondered every day how was the best way to drive out. It did rain all three days so of course it was muddy. The roads had been black topped a couple of years ago but now are in shambles! The potholes are huge! We were told that there is a lawsuit with the contractor so it could be sometime before the roads are repaired. So very sad that this has happened. The peacefulness is still there!

We arrived at Poche's moments before it started to rain. We were camped right on the lake and even in the rain the setting was quiet and peaceful. We only stayed one night but would come back if in the vicinity.

My wife and I have camped at Poche's many times in the past and likely will many times in the future. Because of the lakes surrounding the strung out campsites, the sunrises and sunsets are spectacular. All concrete pads, plenty wide with nice grassy yards. Full services, tables and fire pits and very nice staff. Unfortunately, the asphalt covering of the roads was done improperly and has ruts and bumps where it has crushed and sunk. Fishing is poor.
