Our group did a tour with Beverley, and she did a wonderful job talking about the history and not glossing it over. She also memorized all of our names (10 girls) by the end, which was impressive! The property is beautiful with it's mossy trees and greenery. As much as we got out of the tour, it was dampened by the two women working in the gift shop. We were there around closing time at the end of our tour, and when one of our girls asked to buy something they told her "no we have shut everything down." A few minutes later a couple, right in front of use, purchased several items. At the same time they locked the doors, and when we asked to be let out they told us to wait. They both stood there speaking to the couple, doing nothing, and only let us out when the couple was ready to leave. It was incredibly rude and unprofessional.
