Met up with family for lunch at this Grill/Pub. They had a special of the day; $0.75 ea oysters and they were excellent - grilled, fried & plain. I also had the Corn & Crab Bisque, but did not taste nor see any crab. The atmosphere was dark wood booths and pleasant/cozy. The Wait staff was attentive & friendly.

They have a large alcohol menu as well as a great selection of bistro type meals mixed into the classic New Orleans seafood items. The pricing was in-between the Cheap Eats and Mid-Range they have here on Trip-Advisor and the quantity was very good for the price! I recommend you check out the menu online and head there to eat. My only regret was forgetting to come & try out the place for dinner. It is easy to get yourself fed well in this town!

My daughter and I ate here while we stayed in Slidell, for the evacuation of Hurricane Irma. The food was great, service was excellent, and pricing was very fair! I would highly recommend this place! You get enough food for 2 people so keep that in mind if you're not a big eater. ;)

This restaruant has the best Shrimp and Grits ever!!!!. The Char Boil Oysters on a half shell is to die for. I have always recieved good food and service here. I would recommend this place to anyone. They have available outside seating as well as balcony seating for outside. Besides the Shrimp and Grits and the Oysters everything else has been delicious.

We chose to go here when Copeland's next door had a 45 minute wait. We should have waiting the 45 minutes. I had he Taste of NOLA which consisted of small bowls of Red Beans and Rice with Sausage, Jambalaya, and Crawfish Étouffée. The Red Bean dish was more of a thick red bean soup in which you might find the occasional red bean. The taste was ok, but not the substance. The Jambalaya was Zatarians's Box Mix. Once you have had that mix, you never forget the taste. The last time I had that taste was in a restaurant called The Lost Prudhome in Lancaster, PA. The Prudhome name is very respected in Louisiana. We were certain that they were not lost, but that they had been run out of town because of what they served. There was one very small piece of mystery meat in it, That's it! The Crawfish Étouffée had the taste but only ONE crawfish in the bowl. Yes, just one. It is clear that all of the dishes that were severed to me where prepared somewhere off premises and shipped to this place where they were heated and served. Finally, the two pieces of french bread served with the meal were hard. This is a place to be avoided at all costs.
