It was such a pleasure having traveled scenic roads from Camden, Maine to land at the Crossroads Diner before entering the White Mountains of NH. We deliberately stay away from plastic chain restaurants but often can't find any Ma & Pa places much less good independent diners to have breakfast at on our travels. Crossroads was an oasis just when we were the hungriest! A big stack of blueberry pancakes, thick slabs of bacon, lots of maple syrup and decent coffee filled our tummies. And we delighted in listening to the locals bantering with the waitresses in animated conversation around us. Every town should have its own Crossroads!
