Food and coffee was top notch quality - as good as any top place in a large metro area.

This place is staffed by a super nice team that seem genuinely happy to be there and it is evident in the service. While the decor is simple, they have a nice collection of books and other interesting local ‘stuff’.

Its amazing that two places with in 10 miles could have the best bagels on the planet.. but Catherine DiCocoa makes the absolute to die for bagels..and mini eclaires, pudding, cookies, tarts, burritos, homemadefreshsqueezed lemonade.... She travels the world to learn fromthe locals how to prepare authentic quisine then brings those skills and tastes back to Bethel for all of us to enjoy... she really is a Master Chef. The love for food is felt in her shop and tasted in her works.

While there is literally no competition in Bethel for this cafe, it nonetheless delivers with fantastic coffee and baked goods that would excel were it located in a big city with cafes on every corner. The bagels are some the tastiest most deliciously unique ones I have ever eaten, hand formed and so crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. Just delicious. And their rich coffee quickly won over a coffee snob like myself. They are a a vegan cafe that features amazing looking baked goods as well. Located on Main Street there is ample outside seating and plenty of on street parking as there's not much going on in Bethel besides this cafe. Don't miss it if your driving through.

While vacationing in Maine, my family and I visited this cafe often! Great vegan/vegetarian options! Favorites included the homemade bagels (perfection!), creative sandwiches, and the assortment of cookies. The iced chai was AMAZING and any iced chai we've had since doesn't come close. Longing to return...

I have so much love for this place. We were staying at an AirBnb near Bethel and found this little coffee shop on our grocery shopping trip. Its such a little gem! Mostly a breakfast and snacks kind of place, we had great coffee, fantastic sandwiches and delicious baked goods. I fully recommend having the french bagel (don't remember the exact name, but you'll see it in the menu) and the blueberry bread. Delicious! I also loved that it had a social message: the place is mostly vegetarian (so many great options!) and clearly involved with community efforts. We loved it!
