This inn has a wonderful location right on the waterfront. You can see the fishing boats go out in the morning and come back with their catch in the evening. The rooms are clean but otherwise unremarkable. Unfortunately the breakfast is dreadful. Sugary cereals, limp fruit salad ( possibly several days old) and undrinkable coffee . All this served on plastic and paper.

Thank you very much for your review. We are glad to hear that you enjoyed our location here on the harbor. The view certainly can't be beat! We do apologize that our breakfast did not meet your expectations, it is meant to be just a light continental breakfast with assorted breads and pastries, fresh fruit, cereal, yogurt, juice and fresh brewed Green Mountain coffee. We do our best to keep everything stocked and fresh, and our intention is to give our guests a quick bite to start the day. We certainly appreciate the feedback as that is what helps us make improvements to our operation, and we hope that the rest of your visit was satisfactory.

Best regards,
Bonnie Stover

This was our first time staying at this hotel. The staff is great and very helpful. We had a room with a fantastic view of the bay. The complimentary breakfast is great. There is on site parking. The hotel is located within an easy walk to shops, things to do and restaurants.

Room Tip: It depends what you are looking for. Our room was small but the view was great. That room was fine for a couple, not kids.

Wife and I stayed here on 10/8 and weren't disappointed. Our room was at harbor level with a great view of the harbor. The staff at the office were very pleasant and accommodating. The included breakfast was more then satisfying the next morning. Would stay again.

Room Tip: Be sure to get a harbor level room to avoid steps.

We stayed this weekend and from check in to check out everybody we dealt with were friendly, helpful and just downright nice! We stayed in room 102 on the pier with a breathtaking view of the harbor. The room was older, but clean and comfy. We parked the car on Friday and were able to walk to all the stores and to the pier for a whale watch. Dinner in the restaurant was delicious. Entertainment in the lounge Friday night was Kay on the piano. She is very talented, fun and had a very diverse crowd enjoying the music and singing along! Having enjoyed the lounge so much on Friday, we chose to dine there on Saturday night. Shanie, the bartender/server is like Wonder Woman. There was a huge dinner and bar crowd that she handled amazingly all night long ALONE. She is a real gem. All night mixing drinks, serving food, running up and down the stairs endlessly.....all with a smile on her face and time to chat with and make everyone feel special. Great music by the Holy Mackerels on Saturday night!!

I highly recommend the Tugboat Inn and Restaurant. We will definitely be back again.
