Description: Robert's opened in June 2006 with the same mission that it has today: to take a fresh spin on farm-to-table Maine cuisine. Sourcing local ingredients has always been a strong part of Maine culture, and we are passionate about taking these values to the next level with innovative dishes and modern ambience. So yes, we are renowned for our lobster, baked and fried seafood, steaks, burgers and local craft beer, but we also strive to include New American elements to our menu with seasonal, local ingredients. Over the years, Robert's has grown to become a Maine institution, celebrating the evolving culinary landscape of the state. Most importantly, we strive to serve locals and visitors with food that is fresh, mindful and delicious!

We went here for lunch this past Wednesday. We were on our way back home and decided to have one more meal with fresh seafood. Robert's Maine Grill did NOT disappoint!! We both had their Haddock Chowder. It was excellent. My partner had a lobster roll which was superb. I had the Haddock Reuben which was also excellent. Staff was VERY friendly and helpful. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!

We had lobster rolls and onion rings. Both were excellent! Liked that you could order it with either butter or mayo. We opted for butter. It was lightly buttered and enhanced the flavor of the lobster without overwhelming it. The lobster was perfectly cooked and so tender and sweet. The onion rings are huge and not greasy. The best lobster rolls ever!! Can’t wait to return to Maine, so we can have them again. A great lunch to end our visit to Maine!

Robert’s Maine Grill has a very attractive exterior, nice decor inside, and with a nice water view. The food is delicious but a bit overpriced for the portion size.

Second time in two weeks we've eaten here. The oysters are awesome, the food is fantastic, and they are super child friendly for a higher end restaurant. We came in with an overtired toddler and let them know we were eating on the run. The service and food were super fast and our waitress was amazing. Couldn't be more grateful. We're making this our regular Kittery eatery.

Robert's Maine Grill is on Route 1 in Kittery, ME. This stretch of Rt 1, off I-95, in southern Maine is a tourist destination b/c every retailer in the US has an outlet store here. For some in is a ritual just as stopping in New Hampshire, off I-95 for tax free liquor. So there is a lot of competition among the food providers. We've been to the famous Bob's Clam Shack before. But we took a chance on Robert's previously and it is just great and we feel an excellent value. Mid-range pricing but the raw bar and seafood selection is superb. We prefer to eat at the bar but there are plenty of tables and two hostesses greeting and seating. We stopped this time for lunch on a Thursday on our way to Sebago Lake, Casco, Me from Albany, NY. The bartender, Heather acknowledged us immediately despite being quite busy. We shared braised Brussel sprouts, vegetable soup, some delicious oysters, authentic mac & cheese, , and fish tacos. My bride had wine and I enjoyed an excellent spicy Bloody Mary. Lunch total came to $45. w/ tip. A great value among all the other options in this tourist mecca.
