Really excellent food - breakfast, lunch and dinner. Terrific gluten free choices. Great ambience. Highly recommend it.

We have been to the roost a few times before but last night the food seemed so much better than the other visits. Everyone there is so friendly.

They were kind enough to provide a take out meal of lobster rolls, salad and coleslaw, served in compostable paper containers. The lobster was large pieces of tail and claw meat, only very lightly dressed set into a long brioche bun. Tasty! The salad was abundant, dressing homemade, and coleslaw crispy with a hint of lime and cilantro. Perfect and the best meal we had in Ogunquit. If we had more time, we would have come back for other meals. Additionally, one of the servers (?owner) handled a cranky customer with great ease and grace, despite the customer's unreasonable attitude and comments.

I had a remarkable dinner entree of salmon and dessert of lemon curd. The salmon was just wonderful with so many flavors. It has kept the interior decor of the previous restaurant, La Provence, so it's charming. The meal definitely met the standards of La Provence. And excellent, friendly service. I will be back!
