Visited for dinner to celebrate birthdays and were blown away by the quality of the food. We started with 5 small plates (mushroom ragout, veal polpetti, prosciutto, smoked mussels and gran padano cheese) and everything was phenomenal. Some of the best food we’ve ever had. The bread tasted homemade as well and we even asked for seconds which is something we never do.
For our main course we ordered the Agnolotti which had every piece of pasta generously filled with what seemed like no space for air and the Gulf of Maine which was swordfish and perfectly prepared with a great balance of flavors.
Nick did a great job of balancing an informative approach to serving with very low key interactions which made everything seem very natural and unforced while still letting us celebrate such a special occasion.
You definitely need to visit this place. We’re tempted to make the trip up from NYC a few times a year.
