We sat at the bar and had a drink and ate from the "bar" menu. The cheeseburger was large and done perfectly. The Lobster Roll was overpriced ($24.99 that evening) and lacking. To a person from outside of New England, it is probably ok for that price to get a taste of Lobster meat but for someone who has eaten "lobsta" rolls in and around New England, it was lacking in quantity. The Lobster was fresh and not frozen as it should be with just the right amount of Mayo. The fries come in a bucket and are fresh, tasty and plentiful.
Atmosphere is very good.

Based on a recommendation from a friend, we reserved a table at MC Perkins Cove and we were not disappointed at all. We had a drink in the cozy bar while waiting for our table and then were escorted to a great table facing the beautiful Maine coastline. The atmosphere was relaxed but sophisticated, the service was excellent but the food was truly outstanding. The crab cakes, though small, were the best we had ever had. Could have just kept those coming and made that our meal. Everything was delicious, including the fabulous desserts. Do yourself a favor and let MC spoil you with a romantic meal you won't forget--and that view is spectacular.

We love this place and made a reservation for our first dinner in Ogunquit here. The Rye Manhattan were perfect. Their mixologist is always on point. We had our hearts set for a lobster roll but not on the menu. We ordered the Burmese Salad with tea leaves and lotus - outstanding! We ordered the corn and seafood chowder; good but not $15 good. We also ordered the Peekytoe crab cakes. Good flavor but excessive filler for the price. The fish special was farm-raised salmon - no thanks. Our server later said we could have ordered lobster rolls. Dang! Why aren't they on the menu?!? We'll try again next year.

We wandered in w/ out any preconceived notions or having read any reviews. It was excellent!!!! Great selection of small plates, well worth the money. Drinks were good as well. The view was spectacular! Sorry we didn't get back for dinner.
