This restaurant prides itself on traditional Creole cooking. We like to go here once in a while to get the Cajun spice on our sandwiches but really I have to admit but I am a huge fan of fries and gravy and this place has the best. And, somehow those fries and gravy stay nice and hot until the very end!
So can I tell you the sandwich I got last time? Sadly, no. But their bread is very good, and come to find out their dough is also specially delivered from New Orleans and they are the only place in the state that is able to get this dough.
There is ample parking in their lot. You order at the window and seat yourself at a high top table which may or may not be clean from the persons dining before you. As far as I know fountain drinks have free refills. When you're done you bus your plates to an area designated for plates recyclables and other items.

I was pleasantly surprised with this place. I would put this place in the same category as Subway or DeAngelo and this place was way better than either of those. I ordered the blackened fish sandwich which is what was recommended. The fish tasted very fresh as did all other ingredients. We also had the fried pickles which were great as well. I do want to go back as they seem to have a ton of other sandwiches that looked great

Food is decent prices left to be desired. Red beans and rice is cheap to make and they charge $7. Boudin $6 wasn't bad, basically a pork fried meatball kinda. Sweet tea is actual traditional southern sweet tea but a large of $2 was about 20oz. Sweet tea takes a cup of sugar, pekoe tea and time but drinks are normally the profit margin. $6 min for plastic cards

This is a great little sandwich spot with a fantastic menu. The Creole Sausage is delicious. Can't go wrong with any of the fried offerings. So good.

These guys are great -- amazing blackened catfish sandwich, plus killer red beans and rice. Good for eat-in or takeout. Solid.
