Description: Our restaurant actually floats, and because it is surrounded by water, every table offers spectacular views of Portland Harbor. Our outside decks are great spots to see the sights while enjoying a meal or cocktail. Maine lobster is what we do here and we do it better than anyone.

We ate lunch before a harbor cruise. The views from the tables are excellent. The food was good, prices were a little high compared to other similar restaurants. Our waitress was very attentive and friendly.

I ordered Lobster Mac and Cheese which costs over $30 with taxes. It tasted good but to many breadcrumbs , and not enough lobster. The shuttle from the Embassy Suites will drop you off there, and pick you up there.

I love Dimillo's. I wish I was more blasé about a touristy floating restaurant, but the food is consistently good.

The service is sometimes tired. Our server was as nice as could be and still screwed up practically every single thing we ordered. At one point, he set a dish on the table that we didn't order and we had no idea what it was.

We looked at him with confusion and once he realized his mistake- he tried to up-sell us on taking it. It was awkward all around. Don't randomly give us food and then strong arm us into eating it. We ordered what we wanted,

The labyrinth of kitsch you now have to traverse to get into the restaurant is stunningly awful. It was already a too long of a walk to get back into the restaurant, and now it feels like a never ending tunnel of shell covered rubbish, only to be met by a weary looking receptionist/host who waves you dismissively to the right.

So, some things are great, other things are abysmal and still we return. It's DiMillo's. You forgive a lot for a tiny slice of kitsch filled history.

Our group consisted of a professional chef, one home chef and two foodies and a child.
Chefs say the vegetable were over cooked, french fries where soggy. The fish was bland.
Foodies had Pasta and where flavorful dishes. Kids meal looked like a frozen burger not home made.
Atmosphere meant for older/elderly folk l. Dark
For those who may get motion sickness the restaurant is a floating boat.

Got Lobster and it was great. Staff were very friendly. Relaxed and enjoyed very much.
Table setting and scenary to ocean and boat parking view creates extra value for this restaurant.
