We went on a very quiet November mid week night and were REALLY impressed. All the staff had a chat and also seemed to work as a team. The chickpea fries were fantastic...so much so we ordered two portions! We also had the flounder, the kebab and the beets salad. All got 10/10. Some local beer and a glass of rose rounded off the dinner.

The chef even passed by our table to see if we were happy which was lovely and assuming he is the media star, he deserves his recognition. If it wasn't him then his sous chef is a star in training!

We had an interesting chat with our server and also a delightful lady from Romania who was exceptionally pleasing to the eye!

All in all a wonderful dining experience. GO Go Go....

We had seen the head chef win chopped two days prior to our visit so we were excited to try this place. When we got seated at the restaurant we looked at the menu and the items on the menu were a bit out of the mainstream for us so we decided to go with the chef experience option which allows for a multi course meal and wine pairing. We felt like the food was very good but the courses were served way too fast. We also felt like there was a bit of arrogance associated with the wait staff and the two issues took away from the quality of the food. If reviewing solely on food then I would give it a 10/10.

Mouth wateringly exceptional delights that just kept coming. The flavours were tantilising and continually complemented each other as we journeyed through the courses. Whilst all were delightful my Specific highlights were the tuna, the cod, short rib beef. As a British foodie this restaurant delivered on point with a memorable meal. Thankyou Evo

Second stop on our Portland food tour was Evo Kitchen + Bar. A small restaurant with a cool vibe to it, we were served a potato dish with cumin, yogurt, and turmeric. The potatoes were cooked perfectly, the flavor from the spices blended together very harmoniously, and the yogurt was perfect in cooling things down just a bit. The Chef was very friendly and the staff courteous. Will definitely go there again on future visits to the city.

My wife and I went to Evo for dinner recently while on vacation in area. It was great choice. Menu is tapa style with focus on Mediterranean influences. There is area to sit downstairs which allows you to watch action in kitchen or watch action outside. We sat upstairs and it was nice and quiet. Definitely recommend to make reservation on weekend for dinner. It was very busy. Food wise we had two veggies and two entrees. All dishes were excellent. Good wine list and not too expensive. Great service and atmosphere. Highly recommend this place for nice and quiet dinner.
