I stayed in the gite on a last-minute vacation in the last week of September 2016 (Temperature daytime mid 20's to low 30s), the grapes were being harvested in the surrounding vineyards. The accommodation was of modern, high standard with tiled floors, a modern open plan kitchen/ diner/ lounge (this is a big space) with 2 bedrooms / bathroom up a spiral staircase. The bed was comfortable and had no kickboard (essential for someone over 1.80 metres - else you spend all night kicking the end of the bed!). There is a large patio area at the rear of the property with views over the valley filled with vineyards the sunsets were terrific. The property is set up on a ridge on a promontory with almost 360 degree views! It is about 300 meters down a track from the road, the road is not busy so you are not affected by traffic noise. Also there are very few street lights in this area so you have a magnificent view of the stars in the Milky Way. The gite provided basic provisions (salt, tea, oil etc. which was very helpful. This was an excellent place to visit Gers - I visited Auch, Agen, Dax, Mont d Marsan, Pau, Condom and lots of interesting villages by car, bike and walking. Overall an excellent stay, I wish I could have stayed longer!
