This roadside open bar-b-que restaurant is great for a quick stop. Outstanding lobster rolls and pulled pork. I can’t say enough about how tasty and fresh these were. The atmosphere is very casual and relaxed. The waiter was so friendly that he actually sat down at our table and had a long enjoyable conversation with us. By no means is this place fancy, but the food and drinks are GREAT!
I highly recommend this stop- but make sure you are hungry.

Stopped here as everywhere else on main drag was closed (3rd week October). Also, somehow their phone number is on Trenton Bridge Lobster Pound, our original destination. Prices are high and service is slow. The food is a cut above the competition. The lobster dinner is fresh, the smoked mussels are outstanding and the lobster roll is light mayo, really. Quantities are large. I heard many locals ordering the brisket or other bbq favs. We the tourists were lobster, chowder, and mussel bound. If it weren't for the wait (about 20 minutes to order and about 20 min to get food) and the running out of menu items including tea, I'd bump it higher in stars ratings. Price wise you can find other restaurants at about 25% less on average, but we did not know that at the time.

Stopped here on a whim as we were heading out to Acadia and were we happy with our choice. They were just opening, the water was coming to a boil and the 1 and 1/2 pound critters were ready for cooking. A short wait of about twenty minutes and we were diving into some of the best lobster we had on our travels up the Maine coast. We got the first ones out of the pot, the shells were still soft and the meat was as tender and tasty as you could want!
Thanks, you made our day!!
