The menu in this dining room is the same as the pub down stairs, but this is elegant and down stairs is much louder. The menu features many very good and more labor intensive offerings, not just boiled or grilled meat. I thought the seafood pie with haddock, shrimp, and scallops was wonderful. The ravioli was also excellent. The bread is soft and fresh. The wines well chosen and well described. Our waitress was also spectacular.

Used to live in NH. Have lived away for decades and was excited to take my folks' for Dad's 80th. We had a table by the window with lovely water views. We all had the special which was scallops sauteed with butternut squash and apples, over squash ravioli in a cream sauce. I took half of mine home because of the very generous portions. We shared a bottle of Rombauer Cab. Our waitress was courteous and efficient. My folks were very impressed. Love the new decor. Will definately return when I am in the area.

Recommended by our innkeeper and was justified. Good choice on menu and lobster flatbread/ lobster stuffed chicken went down well. The blueberry pie was full of fruit with nice light pastry while my lemon chiffon was nicely refreshing. Staff were friendly and helpful. Would return.

We had a terrific dinner in the Cellar at this lovely old hotel. The décor is like being below in a ship. Food was good and they have live entertainment, too. Loved it.
