Best hotel I've stayed at in all my travels. Clean, thoughtfully designed, modern and lux decor, comfortable dream-like pillow top bed, most comfortable pillows I've experienced, and best of all, most welcomed hardwood floors. Excellent size room (not tight at all), wallpaper and floor to ceiling window coverings, and couch with table was a nice touch. Fridge and free water (2 small bottles) was convenient.
Free shuttle to NIH and downtown Bethesda, and the Metro (easy ride and cheaper than taxi or Super Shuttle).
Surrounding area by the hotel is clean, almost resort like with the trees and grass nearby and nice glass and wood framed entrance. Lobby and entrance is clean, modern and lux with white, wood, glass, etc.
Crabcake sandwich at the hotel's restaurant was most popular, and rightly so --it was delish. Big flat screen TV.
Would've have liked a bathrobe and thick fluffy towels, and a larger door frame to block hallway noise. Was able to hear adjacent room's cough through the adjoining door between the rooms. Thermostat/heating didn't seem to be working as well --tried to turn the heat up but room temperature felt unchanged.More
