I had the Tuesday special which was a southern-style fried chicken, and it was the best fried chicken I ever had. The breading was so light and flaky and flavorful. I was anxiously waiting during the appetizer (which was amazing too - homemade chicken spring rolls) because the guy at the next table over said he comes here every Tuesday for it.

The service was excellent too - the waitress was very helpful in explaining the menu. The manager made the rounds too making sure we were well taken care of.

Love, love, love...... what a pleasant surprise. We decided not to have entrees but instead did several appetizers and each one was better than the other.
Its not a cheap night out, but you definitely get what you pay for except for maybe the sides.
My new favorite place!!!!

Our food and service was excellent. We thoroughly enjoyed it and even though it is fine dining, they were okay with me wearing shorts (this was a 3-day bicycling trip, so I did not take any 'nice' clothes with me).

Phenomenal little place, rivals any steakhouse in any big city but with the service of a small town locals restaurant!! Go for the bone in ribeye and 10 year bulleit manhattan. Dont forget the selection of fresh oysters either

We have visited Prime 225 twice now. The first time we were celebrating our anniversary in June and had a fantastic experience. Yes the restaurant is pricey especially for this area. Since it was a special occasion, I opted for the Kobe beef which was one of the best meals I've ever had. Cooked perfectly, which it should be at that price, and amazingly tender and well seasoned. My wife had the crab cake which she enjoyed very much. We also had a scallop appetizer which was good but not great. We didn't say anything but the waitress came out a little later and said the chef wasn't happy with it (too much moisture in the scallops so they didn't sear properly) and wouldn't charge us for it. Now, you can say it should never have left the kitchen in the first place but at least they did recognize it was sub par. We did enjoy the experience very much that night. The second time we visited with another couple and we were not nearly as enamored as the first time. My wife had the crab cake and it was overcooked and the side dishes we had were also subpar. The other couple also had some issues with their dishes. We were unhappy to see things going in a negative direction and will try it again but at these prices, where Prime is obviously trying to be a fine dining experience, everything should always be perfect. I would also like a better or more extensive wine choice by the glass as my wife and I often choose different wines. I wish Cecil County would allow BYOB! Giving 4 stars based largely on our first visit.
