“Family fun in the Mad Scientist room”
Review of EscapeLiveGame - CLOSED

Reviewed 5 August 2017

Issue was locating. This business needs to press management into properly advertising, or they need to put a sign on the lawn. I was at the hotel up the St. that did not even know it was there. This could increase the business, but I did tell the staff. I thought it was a scam, but after we made it in, it was a fun, thought provoking and enjoyable experience. My sons both 16 and I had fun trying to figure out the clues. I will definitely do this again. When we left my mathematical son looked like a mad scientist. we were all mentally exhausted in a good way

The place is a little hard to find. The sign outside the building doesn't say that it's in the building. However, once you're inside, be prepared to wrack your brain trying to get back out. My wife and I did the Alice in Wonderland room. The puzzles were really challenging; we definitely needed hints, but solving the puzzles was really rewarding. I would definitely recommend this to others. It's not really a small group activity, as the rooms are designed for 8-10 people. Less people can do it, but it'll be much harder with less brains churning

The puzzle is clear - solve the problems and shut down the machine within an hour or disappear! The instructions provided are clear and, upon a little thought, the puzzles are not too difficult, but should take a pair about an hour to solve them. We were the only two in the room, where normally four or more play, so all was on us to solve. The host provided only two obscure clues, but they were enough. It was a great time and excited us to do more such escapes in the future. Definitely worth the trip, especially if you are new to these games, as the difficulty level is moderate.
