What a great day! It started with lunch at Allison’s for Mother’s Day. Service was wonderful. We ordered bruschetta, shrimp with rice, chicken limone and pasta with lump crab meat. Meals were excellent. Nice wine selection. Great atmosphere!

This little restaurant is in a strip mall on Defense Highway just off Route 3 in Crofton/Bowie. We don't live in the area but my wife and I stopped here just to get out of our comfort zone for a dinner. We were glad we did. We have been twice now and both times we enjoyed our meal very much. The menu is limited and leans Italian, but seafood and some standard American fare is also available. We ordered something different on our two visits to sample the entrees and were very satisfied. You could describe the interior as "cozy" with limited seating and a small bar. Dinners are served with fresh hot bread, a few pieces of which are corn pone. The house salads are pretty standard, but the vinaigrette dressing is a notch above average. On both our visits there were several specials available, but we stuck to the menu. We have tried the Hangar steak, Shrimp Provencal, Chicken Limone, and the Lump Crab Fettuccine. All were delicious and the portions ample. We had wine with our meals and though the wine list is limited, you'll have no problem finding a suitable pairing for your entree. The wait staff was very friendly and attentive.Prices were a tad high, but not unreasonable.Though this place is a little out of the way, with Waugh Chapel and the chain eateries the big draw close by, it is well worth a try. We will be going back.

Menu leans toward Italian, however their skirt steak, corn meal encrusted oysters and lemon chicken are favorites. The bartender makes large and great martinis.......

This is a great restaurant, the food is always excellent. We have enjoyed every meal here after several years visiting. We have family dinners there, have met friends for dinner, drinks and appetizers. Always enjoyable.

My husband and I love food! We just moved to the Odenton area and wanted to try something other then a chain but was nearby. I found Alison's by looking through the advertisements/coupons we receive in the mail.

Started off with the bread and that was so good! The corn bread was amazing!

Then we both ordered the tomato and crab soup, very tasty!! Must try this!

Husband got the Pasta Aurora and I got the special which was penne in a garlic wine sauce with chicken, shrimp, tomatoes and spinach. My only complaint would be the penne noodles were probably from a box?! But all the flavours were there!!

One other thing we noticed was a lot of older clientele was dining there. Nothing wrong with that just something we noticed.

I would highly recommend trying Alison's.
