The Forget-Me-Not Factory is absolutely THE place to go for tchotchkes of every sort. Located on historic Main Street in Ellicott City, floors and floors of this old twisting building are crammed full of collectibles, clothes, decorations, ornaments, and toys. Whether you're shopping for stocking stuffers, decorating a beach house, looking to complete a train set village, or just need that special thing that you don't know what it is, you'll find it here.

A unique store. Difficult to explain what they sell. Basically if you are love fairy-lore this is your kind of place. As a bonus it is all inside a very cool old building in Ellicott City with lots of small rooms filled with surprise and unique items around everytime. Great selection of memorabilia, collectibles and all things elven...

This is a terrific store filled with fun things for both the young and the young-at-heart. Located near the bottom of the historic district in Ellicott City across from the B&O Railroad Museum, this store has toys, gifts, and items of local color, but the most fun are the bubble loops of all shapes and sizes. On a nice day you can find the owner/worker of the shop out on Main Street blowing bubbles big enough to walk through. The store is so crammed with fun and exciting things that it's a little tight to maneuver but well worth the visit. Warning - if you bring a child, you're sure to go home with your arms loaded.

If you are looking for an unique gift that is whimsical and thoughtful this is the place to shop! The staff is friendly and engaging and many days there is a Bubble Man in front of the store demonstrating his skill at making huge, unusual bubbles. You can select from a myriad of fairies, collectibles, handmade gifts, Christmas decor, and standard and unusual toys.

There are some steep steps to get to the upper floors...I'm not sure if they have an elevator as we didn't need it but you should check if you do.

The Forget-Me-Not Factory is so much fun! It literally has everything. I really enjoyed the Christmas villages on display (and the Halloween one, too!), and the thousands of items for sale if you want to make your own. Make sure you visit all 3 floors, because each one is different and unique. The 3rd floor is my personal favorite. The only way to describe this place is Fairy/Christmas/kid-friendly/pop-culture/old-school/new-school/gift-shop/awesome. It was kind of hot in there, though... I'm just saying!
