Description: Mattakeese Wharf is a SEASONAL (May4 to October21 ) waterfront restaurant on Cape Cod, MA since 1968. We serve fresh, local seafood including lobsters, steaks, chicken, and some Italian specialties. There is no better romantic sunset view while dining on the Cape than here at Mattakeese Wharf. See the sunset slideshow on our website with many photos contributed by diners. We are open late April through mid October. Mattakeese Wharf is located next to a whale watching boat so we are a natural destination after your day on the water with the whales. We offer a full bar and live entertainment during the summer season... a great place to watch the Sox games! We serve lunch and dinner 7 days a week plus Brunch on Sundays. We are open during the season(May 4 - Oct.21) from 11:30am until 9 in the evening. Check our website for info!

8 of us had dinner last night. It was very good. Beautiful location. My sister and I had the lobster risotto. It was good but not as good as Bobby Burnes restaurant used to make. The homemade potato chips were delicious. Very good waitress.

Found this place by accident looking for seafood. Great location to watch small boats coming and going. The service was food and friendly. The chowder was one of the best we've had. The lobster roll was over flowing with meat. The cole slaw was creamy and slightly sweet. The others said they food was very good also. Great value for price.

I went here to get a bite to eat after going on a whale watching expedition. It was off season, and just a few days before they were going to close for the winter, so they weren't very busy, but the device and food were very nice. It was a little bit expensive, but located next door to the whale watching dock with a nice view of the harbor.

This restaurant was recommended to us by the proprietors at the B&B where we are staying. The sunset was lovely. The pepper mill was approximately 3 feet long and made everyone smile. The server offered and cracked pepper to a table of 5 without moving his feet! They start you out with fresh baked cranberry dinner rolls which were quite good. We ordered a side salad to go along with our entree for $3.50. We were offered about 5 different dressings to choose from and requested blue cheese. The salad was a small portion of iceberg lettuce accompanied by 1 slice of tomato, 2 slices of cucumber and red onion. (Boring.). We were surprised when the bill arrived and we were charged an additional $1.50 for the “homemade” blue cheese dressing. (Just thought you might want to know.) I had the cioppino which was good but certainly not outstanding. My husband ordered pan fried sole that arrived over-cooked. Wait staff was pleasant and efficient.

Had a brunch last Sunday with my husband but this restaurant is good for lunch and dinner all the time. Wonderful views, atmosphere, and the food well varied, prepared, plentiful, and excellent. We come here whenever on Cape and never disappointed! You won't be either.
