The Motel was exactly that a Motel, terrible sheets, not very clean, expensive in order of what we paid for. However Joe (the owner) was always helpful. It was a good place for us to stay becouse our daughter stayed at Camp Becket for day camp. It is very close from very nice places to visit. Do not expect anything great, The pictures of the rooms shown in website (room) are nothing like we had. The matresses were old and broken.

Whenever I come to the Berkshires to attend Jacob's Pillow, I stay at the Becket Motel where every room is decorated differently with character unlike the standard cookie cutter national chain motels in Lee and surrounded area. The Becket motel is so cosy, homie with a great view out the huge back window on to the green nature. One feels like one is a guest in a friend's guest room, simple but friendly with each room having uniquely different paintings and artworks on their walls and different unique furniture and beds in each different room. It is so close to Jacob's Pillow and all the dining places and places to visit such as the Edith Wharton house, the Norman Rockwell Museum, the Chesterwood that is the estate of the American sculptor, Daniel Chester French who sculpted Abraham Lincoln in the Washington DC Lincoln Memorial. The Becket Motel is inexpensive compared to other places in the area while one gets so much value!!! I love the Becket Motel !!!!

We were up around Lee to attend several evenings at Jacob's Pillow. The first night we stayed at a typical Motel 8 on Main Street of Lee paying a high price because many cultural events were happening. Motel 8 was terribly depressing and the supposed breakfast and two tables in the lobby is called a breakfast room was laughable and horrible. What a rip off. We went looking for another place. We came across the Becket Motel so near Jacob Pillow and inspected some rooms. They were minimum but homie, definitely better than the dark Motel 8. We were hesitant but decided to try the Becket Motel. It was terrific. Slept like a log. I didn't hear anything drunks or noise from the next rooms. In motels, one doesn't open the shades to the windows facing the cars and normal the rear windows face parking or ugliness. But at the Becket, opening the large rear windows looked out onto a sunny green expanse with nice birds chirping. We each had our own room. Each room was different!! Clean and homie. We happily stayed here each time we came to the Berkshires for performances at Jacob's Pillow. Soon we became acquainted with nice owners, Joe and Cindy. We can't wait till the cultural season next year and stay at the Becket Motel, like coming home. We each found our favorite room but we're not telling. In fact I was hesitant to write this review because I wanted the Becket Motel to be our secret. Even people at Jacob's Pillow were not familiar with it. Shish!!!!

Had no problems when we stayed here. Room nothing more than you would expect for the price.

My family ski at Otis ridge and we spent the night here, room was clean warm. Room has a sliding glass door in the rear that brings in alot of light. Its a basic country motel. Plenty of hot water. Otis ridge is about 7 miles away and this motel is the only one in the area. Motel looked full and you can park your car right in front of room. Were planning on returning on another ski trip here.
