Staff couldn't do enough for us--excellent service. The food was very good--ate in restaurant and had catered meals with meetings. Mid-century vibe and ambiance--sort of "Mad-Men". Lots of meeting spaces of various sizes.

I recently attended a 4 day retreat, sponsored by The Quilted Crow, in Bolton, and it was fantastic. it was a quiet weekend at the golf course, but we couldn't have been treated any better. The staff was amazing, and went out of their way to meet our every need. When I asked about iced coffee, the staff immediately put some in the refrigerator for me for the next day. When I requested a room with a chair and foot stool, the girl at the desk went out of her way to make sure the chair was comfortable.

We were served 3 meals a day, and had drinks and snacks available 24 hours a day. I was amazed at the variety of meals they served. There wasn't a single person not satisfied. And the deserts were unbelievable.

The Crow is already talking about going back next year, and we all can't wait! I sure hope the same staff will return, too. I can't wait! Thank you, The International, for a wonderful weekend!

Pros:
Front-desk staff was pleasant
Beds were reasonably comfortable and included clean, white bedding
Rooms were quiet

Cons:
Dingy and old carpet and furniture
Hideous bathroom lighting and non-draining shower/tub
Literally no service or amenities at all; we needed a sewing kit. I can understand not having them in every room but the front desk couldn't cough one up either. This is largely an event lodge and we were completely SOL as my husband (wedding party member) popped a vest button. At $200/night, they should be prepared with the same things even less expensive hotels offer.

This place is riding on its location and the fact that it's the only game in town. If any other place opens nearby, they'll be in big trouble because the service and amenities are nil.

Returned after 4 yrs and it's the same--dull. Golf course is beautiful, rooms are nice size but dull interior. Our room the corners of the windows and closet had spider webs, I cleaned them myself after leaving a note. If you did not understand the lay out it's hard to find the room with continental breakfast, some friends got lost. There for a wedding food was cold not hot (ie: steak ). The restaurant has a nice view, the location is beautiful. Reality it's time for an UPDATE.

Room tip: If going in the summer get a room where the sun does not set into, made the room very warm

This is not a typical hotel, in that the lodge is really only for parties and conferences.

The staff was very helpful.

The rooms were pretty big and roomy, but also pretty basic.

The food we had was good. We ate 3 meals a day there and nothing was ever repeated.
