the Kettle-ho is a small restaurant and bar on School Street in Cotuit right up from the town dockThe bar is loud and lively especially when the Patriots or Red Sox are playing. There are booths and a few tables. The staff is friendly and accommodating and the food is really good. Great hamburgers, rib eye steak and fresh seafood. The fried scallops are the best I've ever had. If you like beef Thursday night is roast beef night. Yum Bountiful drinks and wine glasses filled to the brim. If you want a table without waiting, better get to the Ho earlyPeople make the atmosphere in this little Cotuit treasure.

My wife and I ate supper here on Saturday night. It has a very neighborhood feel to it and the service was excellent. We ordered chicken and scollops and the prices were reasonable. The food was delivered very quickly and was delicious. We got there around 6:00 and it was crowded. They have a large bar area and limited tables, but we were able to get a table quickly. Nice casual pub like atmosphere. I would definitely recommend this place for your dining and drinking experience.

It was jam packed when we got there on a Friday night. The hostess took our name and said about 25 minutes. Got a beer from the bar and stood watching one of the many TVs in the bar and looking at all the college banners from all over the USA posted to the beams. Some folks moved out of a common table and we snuck in and looked at the menu. Seafood or burgers was the big choice. We both got burgers cooked to perfection and enjoyed every bite of them and the crispy fries!

The surrounding neighborhood might give you the impression you'd be walking into a restaurant that had long been stripped of its native charm in favor of a "new Cape" experience, but that is NOT the case. This place offers an authentic, no frills experience along with a bit of good-natured attitude, attentive service and excellent food. Not the most expansive beer or spirits list on the Cape, but the food more than makes up for it.
Definitely worth the short drive off of Rte 28 to visit.
