We've been regular guests at this Residence Inn every other year for at least 6 years now. Although the price is pretty high, we have yet to find another hotel with such an ideal location, and with such nice facilities.

What we like:
--Nice full kitchen. No oven, but a very good cook top. Pots/pans are pretty limited. I think this time we had two sauce pans. But I suspect that if we called the front desk we could get more. Full sized fridge and freezer with ice maker (more on that below).

--Good seating space for 3-4 adults.

--Decent flat screen TV. It is a little on the small side for the room, but quite functional. Good selection of stations including all of the ESPN lineup. It's an analog system in-house, so the picture quality sometimes suffers. But, again, quite functional

--Beds are extremely comfortable, and the darkening shades/curtains do a great job.

--Amazing water pressure/volume in the shower, and lots of hot water.'

--Pretty extensive breakfast. Fruit, yogurt, sausage, eggs, bagels, cereal, waffles, coffee, juice, etc, and plenty of seating.

--Walking distance to a huge mall/shopping area. Also walking distance to quite a few restaurants.

--2 1/2 miles from the train/Amtrak station. You can drive it in under 5 minutes. There's not shuttle, but a taxi will get you there quickly.

What do we wish was better? Not much, really. In the grand scheme, it's all picky things. But here goes:

--Sure wish they would leave the ice makers turned on when they know that a guest is checking in. Go ahead and empty them between guests, but let the darned thing start making ice again right away. Otherwise I have enough ice for my drink sometime around the time that I'm checking out.

--Hallways, lobby, and breakfast area are HOT, even now in early November. Hot enough that you almost need a shower when you get back to your room.

--The sofa/folding bed in the living room: UGH! That's about all that I can say. I'm sure it looks nice. But it is this weird thing where one end is higher than the other, and it is as hard as a board. NOT comfortable for sitting on. This is a Marriott property, and they have similar furniture in the living room of the Marriott condos that we stay at in Florida every year, so maybe it's "a Marriott thing". But they are bad. VERY bad. They really need to go away.

--Again, pretty pricey. But you do get what you pay for.

Happy to hear you stay with us regularly! We agree that our location offers many things to do and places to go for any length of stay. Commuter rail within walking distance to Boston can save time commuting and high parking fees in the city. Amtrak only a few miles away is also very convenient. We hope you will stay with us again on you next visit to the area!

A very friendly and comfortable stay that has all the benefits of a home. The staff are extremely courteous and the check in /out processes are super simple.

The breakfast is delightful. They have a gym and a pool for the guests. They also have a cab driver on call if you need one.

The Dedham Corp center is about couple of minutes walk. It connects to the south station via the Franklin line. Ideally the train is faster than a cab, owing to downtown traffic. But the frequency of the trains are not that great, so better check on the mbta website before deciding.

The blue Hills Reservation is just 6-7 miles from here which is an amazing place to go if you have a free day.

This hotel was just perfect for our needs. We got in at 11:30 PM (train schedule) and a quick tap on the front glass door got us in. The employee at the counter already knew who we were and even had a welcome package with water, chocolate, and pretzels, waiting there for us.

Room Tip: We had a top floor room, it seemed pretty quiet.
