We had an amazing stay at Scargo Manor! It truly felt like we were visiting family. Ann and Roy are incredibly friendly and an absolute pleasure to stay with. We highly recommend the "Captain's Room" which includes quite possibly the biggest and most comfortable bed. Ever.

The backyard and lake are gorgeous. And if that scene gets old (which it wont!), there are plenty of beaches nearby. We went to Mayflower (less than 2 miles); however, there are closer beaches (Corporation, I believe).

Best Restaurant - Scargo Cafe (5 minute walk)

Best Ice Cream - The Ice Cream Smuggler (5 minute walk)

Beset Breakfast - SCARGO MANOR! (0 minute walk)

The biggest problem we had with Scargo Manor was that we found it hard to leave the premises)....and it was even harder to say goodbye at the end of our stay :(

We highly recommend Scargo Manor for anyone looking for an amazing weekend on the cape. A truly great value.

We took over the Manor and Ann couldn't have been more welcoming. The family came from Hawaii and California. First visit to the Cape for most. The manor had everything to offer for our family, ages 1 to 74! There were water crafts, a huge lawn for volleyball and soccer and a wonderful fire pit for evening relaxing and toasting s'mores. The lake was warm and we had a race using the manors canoe, kayaks and peddle boat. So much fun.
Ann told us ahead of time we did not have access to the kitchen but who wants to cook on vacation. Catered in a clam bake from Swan River Fish Market that was perfect.
The breakfast Ann cooked each morning was terrific. She even asked if we had any special requests.
The family agreed we'd return to Scargo Manor for another reunion. Thanks Ann!!!!

Room tip: The suites are great for families w/ children. All second room floors have mini refrig.

Scargo Manor is a must if your planning a trip to Cape Cod. Historic home beatifically furnished with period pieces make a unique even more special. A breakfast to die for prepared daily made lunch unnecessary. Ann and Roy made the experience exceptional and worth a return visit! Definitely, 5 stars.

We stayed here for labor day weekend. It was a wonderful stay. The hosts are fantastic, helpful and friendly. We could have just stayed on the grounds the whole time- great places to sit, read a book and relax. easy walk to the beach and short dive to everything.

We stayed in the toile room. It was so private and quiet and huge! Shower was a little small but who cares! It had a huge walk in closet with a mini fridge! They have everything you could need, wine glasses, wine opener, break fast in the AM and coffee! I would go back here for a stay-cation anytime.

Room tip: toile room was great!
