We had just gotten into town and had seen this place along the way to our hotel. I'm so glad we drove back to try this place. We sat outside, although there are tables inside. Our server was pleasant and attentive. My clam roll was very good. While we were there we saw many people getting take out. The place has a charm that reminds me of my youth. They serve ice cream and cone sizes seem most generous.

This place has seen restaurants come and go. However, the present owner has developed a great local following due to good honest food, some with a flair, friendly and timely service, and moderate pricing. Full bar service is available along with a good selection of draft beers.

The first place we ate in Cape Cod based on a recommendation from our hotel. Had to have the lobster roll and thought it was great. Had 5 more that week and none compared to this place. Nice cold beer too.

Falmouth Heights location is just short walk from Falmouth ferry. It was a hot an humid early evening dinner so outdoor seating was prefered. The picnic table supplemented with two wooden chairs nicely accomodated our group of 8. Shanty does feature a lot of fried seafood and chowders. The selections varied from seafood platters, to fish and chips, chowders and for non-fried seafood eaters the stuffed crabcake sliders were busting with crabmeat and quite good. As for drinks nice summer mudslides, pina coolattas, beers all nicely chilled but mixed drinks might be weaker than many would like.
Meal an drink pricing was moderate for a summer resort time meal.

We recently visited the Silver Shore Shanty, the setting was very unique, the menu was great with plenty of choice for everyone in the group and the service was fantastic! It was so good we brought the whole family back the next night! Highly recommend the burger, fish & chips and the ice creams ☺️
