This restaurant may be a bit hidden underneath the Muffin Shop in Marblehead, but you will not be disappointed once you find it. Everything on the menu is top notch and highly varied. You can get anything from classic bar bites, to finger licking BBQ ribs, to black bean burgers, salads, and delicious seafood. The owners and staff will treat you like family when you walk in, and the service is excellent. Unfortunately they just announced they are moving to New York City, but at least we know there will be a great place to go when visiting that area!

Jack Tar has always been a great "go to" spot in Marblehead for dinner and a bite at the bar. The owners recently announced that they're heading home (I think?) to Saratoga, NY (again, I think that's where). So they're closing in February at some point.

Very good food in a wine cellar setting. Staff was very helpful, food was outstanding. It is hidden away so be patient.

The title says it all really, for delicate English stomachs the huge American portions are a bit much.
Some might say, "Don't eat it all," but that is difficult when one was brought up to clear ones plate.
Found it very noisy as well, not the restaurants fault but there were people"talking" to one another three tables apart.

Thank Dave J
