Looking for breakfast close to home and quick TripAdvisor search had the Main Street Cafe listed as #1 in Marlborough for full breakfast menu. Ambiance is fairly simple with painting and pictures decoration walls. First time in so didn't realize if table is clean take a seat. It was Sundy at 9AM so expected a crowd but still a few seat availabe. Waitress got drinks promptly and quickly took the Main Street Devine breakfast and Vegatarian omlette for my wife order. Despite the crowd breakfast was served promptly as well. Reasonably priced breakfast for two about what you would expect for local cafe - $22. All in all very good and it will not be our last breakfast visit.

Good food, good wait staff, owner nice. I had the biscuits and gravy with dropped (poached) eggs, twice. The best part is my wife was happy with the place.

We were in town for baseball. We found this recommendation and went for breakfast. There was a street fair so we parked a little way away and walked. The service was friendly and quick. Food was very good. It was awkward walked in. Seemed like all locals- provably because the street was closed - but we didn't know if we should just sit or wait. No greeter. But once we figured out we should just sit we were good.

I’m not sure how long this place has been around, but seventy years is a reasonable estimate. Once known as “Bumpy’s Diner”, it has been owned and operated for the past forty years by Randy Scott, Bumpy’s son-in-law. This is about as much of an institution in the area as anything else and it has a fine reputation.
The service is quick and friendly, the menu is extensive, and the food is actually excellent. This isn’t a “greasy spoon” place, but serves good, basic diner meals for breakfast and lunch. The breakfasts are wonderful and the prices are remarkably reasonable. It is clean and the restrooms are clean as well.
