Heard great things so was a little dissappointed. Does have an excellent deck with a nice view. Service friendly and relatively quick but interior seems dated and the food was uninspired. They need to move forward 20 years....

Six of us 60+ age people went to this restaurant yesterday afternoon after we completed an MS Walk. It was a beautiful day so we decided to sit outside on the upper deck. The view was fantastic. The waitstaff was great. The menu varied, which was a good because itvreally isca seafood type of restaurant. The drinks were done just right. The food came out hot and all together. When in this area go to this restaurant. You will not be disappointed.

We were looking for an affordable lunch with a view, and Michael's, fit the bill.
Every day of the week at lunch time, has a different special (lobster rolls on Tuesdays). We had fish and chips on a Friday. The portions were large, the haddock in a light batter, was delicious. The sides that came with the order were fries and coleslaw.
The dining-room had large windows on two side with river and harbour views.
The service was very good as well.

Six of us arrived at 2 pm on a cold April Saturday afternoon. We didn't have a reservation and, as it was quite busy, we had to wait around 20 minutes. We were told that upstairs was open seating, but there wasn't enough space for our large party. Once we were seated we were attended to by a very friendly waitress. Our food arrived promptly. The clam chowder was outstanding. The best I've ever had. We also had the combo appetiser plate and calamari. My fishman's platter of fried clams, shrimps, scallops and fish, French fries and onion rings was huge and delicious. The others had surf and turf, fish po'boy, fish skewers salad and clam plates. Ok, the food is a bit pricey but it was worth it. I would recommend it.

This was our first visit and enjoyed the great view from the outside deck which was protected from the cold weather by heavy plastic sheeting and heat lamps. There was no wait for a table for 2 at 1pm on a Saturday afternoon.

My fish & chips lunch was pretty average. My wife had a caprese salad. The service was very good. Prices were very reasonable.
