Very good all around! Location excellent! Quiet neighborhood, 1 block to beach, easy short walk to town. Quaint, charming & cute! Various room types, to suit every need. We had the 2 queen bedroom & 1 bath. Great for 2 couples. One bedroom upstairs with door, own AC & tv & one bedroom downstairs with same. Bathroom downstairs. roomy foyer entrance. Off breakfast room can get noisy, make sure to run ac units to drown out noise. Bathroom toilet cramped, but large vanity & good shower/tub combo. Great breakfast assortment. Dont miss walking tours free that leave from the hotel! Plenty of lovely outdoor spaces to sit. Great value week before Memorial Day & no crowds! Locals say Sept great, less crowds, water warm. Great friendly staff!

Room Tip: Call & ask about all the unique room set ups.

A quick first MV trip. Arrived on ferry in am and left the next morning. Rented car at ferry landing in Oak Bluffs, dropped bags at hotel, found great lunch spot in Menemsha, enjoyed the views and bought souvenirs in Aquinnah, and then more shopping in Edgartown with a stop for ice cream overlooking the marina moorings. Easy, interesting short drive back to Oak Bluffs. Our room was small, but very comfortable. Very quiet except for brief period when guest above our room seemed to be moving furniture for a half hour. No time to enjoy the afternoon cookies or breakfast, but staff and guests were very friendly and we would have enjoyed lingering longer. We will definitely be going back to MV and Pequot Hotel. For long stays, we might want waterside lodging, but we enjoyed the Pequot and it was perfect for our out and about sightseeing trip.

We loved our stay at this hotel. It is in a wonderful location - walking distance to everything you need in Oak Bluffs. Breakfast was delicious. My favorite part of our visit was the atmosphere of the hotel. Fun, quaint and very welcoming!

We were thrilled to find the Pequot Hotel. We stayed in the Apartment Suite at the hotel. It has three bedrooms, a kitchen, table and seating area. It was perfect for our family of 5. We loved sitting on the beautiful front porch in the swing and rocking chairs. The breakfast was advertised as continental. There were hard boiled eggs, homemade quiche and so many other choices. I enjoyed the fresh fruit! My kids loved the afternoon cookies. We borrowed towels and beach chairs from the hotel. We were sad that our stay was over so soon. We will definitely be back.

My wife and I stayed at the Pequot Hotel last year after our wedding, and when it came time to celebrate our first anniversary, we decided to stay in Oak Bluffs again. The only hotel we considered this year was the Pequot.

When we arrived, the woman at the check-in desk took a few minutes to show us the amenities in the lobby, including the location of the ice and soda machine, the area where the free breakfast was served, as well as the free coffee/tea, and cookies. We had mentioned in conversation that this was our second time staying there and that our trip was for our anniversary. We finished checking in and went to our room to relax for a bit. After a while we heard a knock on the door, and opened it to find that the same employee who checked us in had brought us a tray with a bottle of wine, two glasses, some chocolates, and a card congratulating us on our anniversary! It was a wonderful surprise, and we were touched by the hospitality of the Pequot and their employees!

The room itself was charming and comfortable for the two of us, and had a coziness about it that we liked. It also had amenities like cable and wifi which we enjoyed when we weren't out exploring the island and enjoying the scenery.

I would definitely recommend this hotels to others for visits to the island! Outside of the amazing staff and quaint accommodations, the hotel is conveniently located a few minutes walk from the ferry terminal, the Oak Bluffs bus stop, and the shops and restaurants of Oak Bluffs.

Dear John R.,

I'm so glad that you and your wife once again choose the Pequot for your Vineyard visit. It was certainly our pleasure helping you celebrate your special occasion!

Ali is the team member who you mentioned that brought you the wine and chocolate. She is new to our hotel this season and she has fit in seamlessly. We are so fortunate to have her on our team, and we hope that she remains for many seasons to come! I will pass on your kind words to her. I know that she'll be happy to know that you were pleased.

Thank you for staying with us again!
My warmest regards,
Lisa
