“Coal fired Pizza Best of the Berkshires”

This is a longtime locally owned Pizza cafe. It is one of the few coal driven pizza oven restaurants in the country. Open for pizza Thursday thru Sunday only. These pizzas are in the oven for only a few minutes because of the heat, but its enough time to make one of the best that you will ever have. The pepperoni is spicy, the sausage is thin sliced, hot peppers and mushrooms are favorites. Order a Special with or without Anchovies or you can also have a cheesemelt, which is without red sauce and just the Munster cheese that is unique. Make sure to have a drink or 2 while you wait for your pizza.

Just now we experienced one of the worst servers ever! After being seated and then ignored for 15 minutes and other patrons coming in and their order being taken before ours we promptly got up and left. Do not I repeat DO NOT patronize this establishment! You have been warned!

We picked up three cheese pizzas after calling them in which are simply crispy, delicious, and delightful. Same great flavor and taste as always. Will be back for more..

We went here based solely on the reviews of others for the pizza. However, pizza is only served Thursday- Sunday, 4:00- closing! Be very careful of your timing on this! I couldn't find this information anywhere and we would not normally have gone here. I hope this helps others as they plan their trip.

Quick stop for pizza to go. Very fair price for drink and pizza. Pies were very good. Don't be fooled by appearance. A lot of locals so it's a comfortable atmosphere.
