Well what can I say but the Jesse Harlow B&B is absolutely fantastic!
Kathy who owns and runs the B&B is just the most loveliest lady I have met. She made us feel welcome from the time we arrived and when we left it was like saying goodbye to a good friend.
The house (and our room) were tastefully decorated and spotlessly clean. Gorgeous flowers were dotted through the house, which just made it feel even more welcoming and homely.
We stayed in the Eldred-Wheeler Suite, which was warm and cosy. Linens on the bed were luxurious and soft, and the towels in the bathroom were beautifully fluffy. There was also bathrobes provided in the room, which was a lovely touch, especially when travelling. It was also great as the bathroom was along the hall, but the upstairs was exclusively ours.
There was a little basket of treats in the room - chocolate coated cranberries with bottled water. Downstairs there was freshly baked cherry fudge, teas and coffees, wine, local beer, and soft drinks for us to have.
We enjoyed relaxing in the lounge before heading out for dinner. Kathy told us of some of the best places to eat, and we were not disappointed with her recommendation (Cafe Stregga). Kathy also has a basket with maps and brochures of things to do in the local area.

We had a fabulous night sleep and the next morning we were given the most beautiful homemade breakfast. Firstly, we were greeted with fresh fruit juice and freshly brewed coffee. Then we had freshly baked quiche lorraine, served with salad and strawberries with slices of freshly baked apple bread. This was all served on a beautifully set table with fresh flowers and linen napkins. Another couple were staying at the B&B and Kathy was just the most perfect host ensuring we all were catered to.
Just want to add that this B&B is a credit to Kathy and hope that she continues doing B&B as one day I would love to bring my boys back to visit not only Plymouth but Kathy. Thanks so much for a fabulous time.More
