We have been vacationing in P'Town fo 50 years. We were sorry to see Michael Shay's leave, but thrilled to see a better repalcement. With all of the great family places gone (Paparazzi's, Clem and Ursi) we ventured out to the Hot L. Our granddaughters in tow, we were quickly seated and waited on by friendly staff eager to take our beverage order. Now, 3 granddaughters under 12 is a tough crowd to pleae. The best Mac and Cheese on the Cape, great fish and chips, and wonderful service. So good, we went back for the Friday Fish Fry - all you can eat for $13. The best value in P'Town. The menu has something for everyone, the staff is super friendly (need to slow down on clearing the table until everyone has finished, Alex), and the prices are budget friendly. I wish them the best and will be a frequent visitor on our next trip.

We always stop at Michael Shay's on our visits to the Cape. Surprised to find this restaurant is now called HotL with new owners and completely modernized. We werre struck by the attractive entrance, new bar and modern and exquisitely designed dining room. Some of the original staff werre also present. But more significantly, the new creative menu was inviting. It was by far the best dinner we had on the Cape this year, We started with Strawberry Daiquiris and Margaritas, We selected Mussels, BBQ Chicken, Lobster Mac and Cheese (to die for) and Chicken tenders. Everything was excellent and my wife said the Mussels were among the best she has ever had. All in all, it was thoroughly enjoyable with friendly and fast table service Wonderful casual dining. We also learned that there is a breakfast buffet on Sunday, so we came back to try it..It was a full range of breakfast goodies with an optional omelet table. All you can it. A great value fresh and filling meal
