P & S Pizza has been around for a long time. Next door to the Town Hall and facing the expansive common, not much changes at P & S. The red vinyl booths are lined up on one side of the room and tables can be found on the other side. It's always full of local folks and is a pleasant place to dine in as an alternative to take-out. The pizza is good with a medium crust and lots of toppings. The mushrooms are fresh rather than canned.
Salads, calzones, and pasta dishes are good and quickly prepared. Hero sandwiches in this part of the world are called grinders. The grinders are big and hearty. The meatball grinders are quite tasty. This place is nice because it has a liquor license and serves beer and wine.
There are tables outside in summer where you can watch the quiet pace of this pretty New England town. The food is generally good and the atmosphere is small town. It's a nice place for fast food.
