Yes, this is a little off the beaten path. I arrived at night, and was scared that I had the wrong place, but I saw the sign and it was clearly marked.
This is a working goat and chicken farm, but it doesn't smell AT ALL. It has very cute grounds, and lots of land nearby for hiking, biking or walking. Lots of nearby fruit and jam stands add to the quaint feeling. I'd imagine there is a lot to do in all seasons here.
The room was lovely, and the bed was extremely comfortable. The Innkeeper is a very kind woman who is eager to make you feel comfortable and at home. The bathroom is REALLY well stocked with any product you may need (shampoos, conditioners, eye make up remover, lotions, moisturizers, etc.), which is great because I forgot a lot of my products.
The breakfast (eggs, freshly baked bread, coffee, homemade zuchini lemon bread) included farm fresh eggs from her own chickens, and was great. I will be staying here in the future if I am in the area, for sure.More
